So it’s the end of 2018. It’s been a great year. We’ve accomplished a lot and have a long ways to go. Here are some things that happened at The Flood Team that you may not have known about. We’d like to share them as our holiday letter.
First and foremost we helped a ton of people with floods. Some of our most exciting jobs involved working at a hospital and cleaning up an apartment building. We also worked on a few commercial buildings and lots of residential homes.
Second. We got a lot of referrals from satisfied customers. Thank you to everyone who supported us by letting their friends and family know about the great work we strive to do. Without your help we would not be where we are today.
Third. We don’t like to talk about it much, but in the past one of our employees embezzled from the company. It was in the news and we were sad to see it happen, but this year that person was sentenced and justice was served. We’d like to thank all the people who helped make it possible for us to move forward from this darker chapter in our history.
Fourth. We started getting classes together again. We hadn’t done them in a while and we’re happy to see education become a pillar of our business model again. We want to help the community learn about water damage and how to prevent it. We’re happy to help people who need a water damage professional, but we’d be even happier if we could prevent it from happening in the first place.
Lastly, we added some new people to the team. With business going well and people liking our services it has been a busy year. We added more technological devices and more water removal machines to our arsenal. We even added space to our warehouse.
Thank you to everyone who is a part of The Flood Team. We’re so happy to be in St. Louis helping our neighbors. We look forward to working with you in the new year.
Happy Holidays!
